Pump Industry Leaders Unite at ICOMP 23 Conference

The first international conference on Pumps and Motors, ICOMP 23, was held today in Coimbatore. The event, with the theme “Conquering the global market,” was jointly organized by the Indian Pump Manufacturers Association (IPMA), The Southern India Engineering Manufacturers Association (SIEMA), and Rajkot Engineering Manufacturers Association.

Hans Raj Varma, Chairman, and Managing Director of TIIC, inaugurated the conference, which saw the attendance of over 300 pump professionals and business owners from across India.

The conference featured both technical and business sessions, where experts and industry leaders shared their insights and experiences. Soundarajan, Vice Chairman of CRI Pumps, delivered the keynote address during the business session, highlighting CRI Pumps’ success in reaching more than 70 countries worldwide. Other prominent speakers included Rajiv Neelivethil, MD of ESPA Pumps, Kiran Gosavi, VP-KBL, and Ivan Peruzzo, GM EBARA Pumps. Vijay Krishna, GM Water segment KSB shared their experience in global marketing.

The technical session featured renowned speakers such as Gero Kreuzfeld, Managing Director, CF Turbo, Germany discussing the latest advancements in centrifugal pump design and Usha Subramaniam, Country Head Grundfos India shedding light on the future of pumps and motors. C Murugesan spoke on the recent updates on BIS and BEE for pumps. Other distinguished speakers include Alpesh Apte from Franklyn, Parthasarathy Roy from Drivz, Arth Patel from Jyothi Limited, and Milind Karve, Senior GM WILO. The event showcased the industry’s commitment to global market expansion and collaboration among leading pump manufacturers and experts.
