KPR College Celebrates National Chartered Accountants Day

KPR College of Arts, Science and Research, School of Commerce, Professional Coaching Wing, and B.Com Professional Accounting, in collaboration with Sri Eswar Academy, recently celebrated “National Chartered Accountants Day” at the Lecture Hall.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by Padmashree, a second-year student of B.Com Professional Accounting. Geetha, Principal of KPRCAS, delivered a thought-provoking Presidential Address, highlighting the significance of the accounting profession and its impact on the Indian economy.

Kumuthadevi, Dean of the School of Commerce, extended her felicitations during the event. The keynote talk was delivered by Nithya, Honorary Director & Legal Advisor of Sri Eswar Academy in Pollachi, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Nithya’s talk on “Prime Movers of Indian Economy” provided valuable insights into the global profession of chartered accountancy. Her informative session emphasized the crucial role played by chartered accountants in shaping and influencing the economy.

The students actively participated in cultural events and various activities, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. The session proved to be highly beneficial for the students, broadening their understanding of the profession and its global significance.

Saranya, a second-year student of B.Com Professional Accounting, expressed her gratitude and delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. With approximately 150 students in attendance, the event successfully created an enriching experience for all participants, leaving a lasting impact on their academic and professional journeys.
