The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity has launched the “TEX-366” initiative, aiming to empower orphaned children and elderly individuals through the distribution of newspapers. For 366 consecutive days, the club will provide daily newspapers to needy orphanages in Tamil Nadu and Kerala at Children Charitable Trust – Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore, Helping Hearts Children Home -Gandhipuram, Erode, Assisi Snehalaya, Rottigoundanur, Coimbatore and Santhinikethanam Charitable & Welfare – Chunnambuthara, Palakad. The project, worth Rs. 65,000, seeks to foster a love for reading and bridge the information gap for underprivileged individuals. Led by the club members Rtr. Maikchelraj – President, Rtr. Arjun – Secretary, Rtr. PP. Logesh Bharani – Club Advisor, Rtr. Anbu Chelvan, Rtr. Hema Sri, Rtr. Suryanarayanan, Rtr. Sharulatha, Rtr. Mehala and Rtr. Thanghapantieyaan.. Through the “TEX-366” initiative, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity aims to create a better world by providing access to knowledge and the magic of reading for all.
