TN Industries Minister Raja Inaugurates Lulu Hypermarket

Lulu Group, the leading retailer headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has further solidified its presence in South India with the inauguration of a world-class hypermarket in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The hypermarket, touted as the largest in the state, offers an unparalleled shopping experience to residents and visitors alike. The grand opening ceremony was graced by Tamil Nadu Industries Minister TRB Raja, Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali, and other esteemed dignitaries.

Expressing his delight at expanding Lulu’s services in Tamil Nadu, Chairman Yusuff Ali shared plans for additional regional growth and development. The Lulu Group aims to establish food processing units and international logistic centres in various parts of Tamil Nadu. These initiatives will contribute to the state’s economy and provide employment opportunities for locals and newcomers.

The inauguration of the hypermarket is the outcome of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Lulu Group and the Tamil Nadu government. This agreement was forged following a meeting between Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali in Abu Dhabi.

Prominent figures present during the opening ceremony included Ashraf Ali, Lulu Executive Director; Anand Ram, Lulu India and Oman Director; Saifee Rupawala, CEO; Nishad, Lulu India CEO; Rejith Radhakrishnan Nair, Lulu India COO, and other top officials.
