Hykon’s New ‘Pluto Plus’ Water Heater Boasts Salt Water Compatibility

Hykon India Limited, a leading manufacturer of power electronics and solar solutions, has introduced a new range of cost-effective and high-quality solar water heaters. The unveiling event at Jenneys Residency, Coimbatore showcased two models, Moon SS and Pluto Plus, offering outstanding performance and affordability. The launch event was attended by Christo George, Chairman and Managing Director of Hykon, along with George Christo, Director, and Vijayakumar, Sales Head.

The highlight of the new range is the ‘Pluto Plus’ Water Heater, which combines top-notch features with an affordable price tag of ₹15,970. The water heater also comes with free installation, ensuring a hassle-free experience for customers.

The Pluto Plus Water Heater utilizes highly efficient three-layer vacuum tubes, ensuring optimal performance and maximum energy absorption. The tubes are designed to resist corrosion and are supported by corrosion-free aluminium stand parts. The water heater can handle water quality up to 2000PPM, making it suitable for areas with saltwater usage.

While inquiring about the lifespan of the water heater, Maheswaran, the Vice President of Hykon said, “The Pluto Plus Water Heater offers a reliable and durable solution for domestic water heating needs, with a lifespan of 15 years and a 5-year warranty period.” “The state-of-the-art water heaters offer temperature outputs of up to 65 degrees Celsius during hot summer days and up to 55 degrees Celsius in chilly winter seasons”, he added.

He highlighted the versatility of the solar water heater, emphasizing its use for cooking purposes as well. This eco-friendly feature not only conserves water but also enhances the product’s overall value.

The new range of solar water heaters, including the Pluto Plus, Moon, Jupiter, and Turbo-D models, is manufactured at Hykon’s solar water heater manufacturing unit in Coimbatore. The products undergo a meticulous manufacturing process to maintain quality standards.
