Casagrand announces plans for IPO, aims to be Top 5 players in India soon

Casagrand, one of India’s leading Property Developers, announced on Friday that the company’s plans t to go public in a few years.  The possibility of going public was announced by Arun Mn, Founder & MD, Casagrand in a virtual meet held on Friday, in which he said that in the next one-and-half years the IPO will be a sure shot for the Chennai-based player.

He also conveyed about the volume of sales done by the property developer in the last year shows that the public are interested in purchasing properties despite the slowdown in all fronts. Arun underlined that Casagrand is right now one of the top 5 developers in South India, and sales during last 2 years have been incredible.

He shared that the company is now aiming to acquire land in Hyderabad.  Instead of immediately becoming a Pan India player, the company aims to be dominant or relevant in the areas where it is present. Arun added that in the coming years, Casagrand will exhibit aggressiveness in adding more land under its belt. While the company is among the top 5 developers in South India, it did not deny the desire to become one of the top 5 in the country soon.

At the press meet, Arun also highlighted the news space the company has undertaken like Casagrand PropCare, a Facilities Management platform and also shared about the new venture Casagrand BizPark.

At the meet, he also shared that Casagrand is a people-driven company, and it has paid its staff in full during the pandemic year, and also been rewarding them. To a question raised in the meet regarding affordable-housing, Arun said that under a new banner Casagrand will be introducing houses under Rs12 lakh to 30 lakh in places that people would normally prefer buying.
