Dr. NGP Institute of Technology (NGP ITECH) has established a tie up with AOSTA India Private Ltd as a major step to upgrade the Industry-ready skill sets of the students. The initiative was inaugurated by the Chairman Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami and Secretary Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami recently at the college premises.
This collaboration with Aosta which is a world class Healthcare related software and solutions provider would be a boon to the students of NGP ITECH, in terms of Value Added Training, Internship programs and Placements from an Industry partner like AOSTA, who are acquainted with the industry requirements since 1999.
In his inaugural address, Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami stressed the importance of the New Educational Policy which insists on hands-on training and application-oriented learning.
Dr.Thavamani D.Palaniswami, while felicitating, deliberated about the need for digital learning. She also emphasized on critical thinking and problem-solving skills to be developed by the students.
Prabha, Principal, stated the need for bridging the gap between industry and academia. She also added that this initiative will provide in-house internship opportunities for the students in the domain of APP Development.
Ravi Shankar, Director-Technical Operations, AOSTA expressed that, their core competence is to build hybrid, integrated, scalable and extensible enterprise-class web and mobile applications for the healthcare sector and this domain knowledge could be transferred to the faculty members and students.
