Rotary Coimbatore Central handed over 3 ventilators costing Rs 19 Lakhs to the Paediatric Surgical Department and Theatre at Government Hospital Coimbatore on Thursday.
N.Subramaniam, President of Rotary Coimbatore Central, said “Rotary Coimbatore Central has been taking up various projects to help the common man in the fight against the Pandemic . These portable, state of the art ventilators can be easily transported from the theatre to the ward and Vice Versa and would come in handy in critical situations”.
The ventilators were received by Dr. A Nirmala, Dean, Coimbatore Medical Hospital in the presence of Dr. G S Sameeran, IAS, District Collector, Coimbatore and S Rajasekhar , Rotary Governor for Dist 3201. RCC Central said that this has been made possible because of the contribution of West Care Medical, Canada which was facilitated by Suresh Iyer of Canada and Rotary Coimbatore Central.
S.Rajasekhar, Governor, Rotary International District 3201 stated that Rotary clubs across the district have been helping in creating health infrastructure in government hospitals with equipment and consumables.
