PSG College of Technology is organizing the 46th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP 2019) between 9.12.19 and 11.12.2019. The inaugural of the conference was held on 9.12.2019. V.Asokan, Director, GM-Operations, Flowserve India Controls (P) Ltd, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest of the event.
To promote advancement and activities in all aspects of Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power in India, the National Society for Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (NSFMFP) was established in 1973. One of the society’s main activities is to conduct this conference at one of the nation’s premier Institutions. This year, it is being held in PSG College of Technology. This is the third time for PSG Tech to host this prestigious conference.
The aim of this conference is to provide platform for researchers, academicians, students and industrialists from various parts of the country to explore the vast potential of research and advancements in the field of fluid mechanics and fluid power. More than 200 participants from different parts of the country are participating in this conference and presenting papers in various sessions. ISRO is a major sponsor of this conference.
The best paper and most innovative researcher awards with a total prize of 700 Euros will be sponsored by Springer, a leading global scientific publisher. Selected papers will be published in Multiphase Science and Technology, Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science and Sadhana.
