United States of America will host an event titled ‘Howdy, Modi! Shared Dreams, Bright Futures’ in which PM Narendra Modi will take part and address Indian Americans on 22.9.19.
It was learned that the event will take place in NRG Stadium in Houston and US President Donald Trump will share the stage with Modi. This will be the first time where the US and Indian Chief participate in a joint rally.
The White House has confirmed Donald Trump’s participation. More than 50,000 Indian-Americans will be taking part in this mega-event. According to the White House, the event would bring an opportunity to emphasize the strong ties between the people of US and India, form and strengthen strategic partnerships and discuss ways to deepen their energy and trade relationships.
Modi will land in Houston on September 21, he will address the Howdy Modi event attendees on 22nd Sep at 11 a.m. following that he will also address top business leaders from energy sector in US.
On Sep 23, he will attend UNSG Climate Action Summit and address on tackling climate changes and the participation of all leaders towards a greener earth. On Sep 24th, in connection with the commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, he will host a special event in New York – ‘Leadership Matters : Relevance of Gandhi in the contemporary world’ at the Economic and Social Council Chamber at the UN Headquarters.
Modi will also attend an event organized by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation during which he will be honored with the Global Goalkeeper Award 2019, in recognition of his contributions to Swachh Bharat Scheme.
