The Lighting Ceremony and Thanksgiving Day was held at Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science for the Final year UG and PG students on 01.04.2019 at 02.00 pm. in the auditorium. N.Mala, Principal, welcomed the gathering.
K.A.Chinnaraju, Secretary, offered his felicitations. He emphasized that students should not only enhance their knowledge, skills and competence but also they should follow the ethical values through which one could attain success in life. As per the tradition, the lamp was lighted by the dignitaries on the dais.
The lit lamp was relayed from the Secretary to the Principal, Deans and HoDs . They shared the light to the faculty members and students denoting the transfer of knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next. The students took pledge. M.Thangavelu and S.Subramaniam Trustees of KKCAS graced the function with their presence. K.Vijayalakshmi of III B.Sc Mathematics proposed the Vote of Thanks.
