Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, the Department of Business Administration (UG) organized Women Cultural Fest Today.
In the inaugural address, the Secretary of Hindusthan Educational & Charitable Trust, Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann highlighted the role and importance of women in our society and also emphasized on women empowerment.
The Chief Guest of the program, Dr. Asha Rao, the Medical Director of Rao Hospital, said that the moto of their service was to prevent cancer from women as it is on the rise. She emphasized that giving vaccination to young girl children from 9-14 years would “Prevent Cervical cancer for Women”.
Swathi Ashwin, Director, D.A.R. Jewelers highlighted that achieving gender equality and Women’s well-being in all aspects of life is more crucial to create a wealthy and healthy economy.
Dr.Priya, Executive Secretary of Hindusthan Educational & Charitable Trust, and Dr.Ponnusamy Principal of the College, Dr.Priya Sharon Thomas Professor & Head of the English Department have felicitated the participants.
The Women students of the college participated & won the prizes in various events organized on that day. This Program was organized and Coordinated by the Department of Business Administration (UG) faculty members led by Dr.Saradhamani – Professor of the Department.
