Department of Management Studies (PG) & Research of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science organized ALACRITY ’24 – 7.0, an Interactive Departmental Management Meet recently.
Poovarasan, Student coordinator, welcomed the gathering. Dr.Beena, Head Department of Management Studies (PG)& Research gave a special address to the gathering. Dr.Satheesh Kumar, Principal, in his presidential address, highlighted the need for management meet, role of mind-blowing events, and the right platform for exhibiting skills for the students.
Dr. Vasudevan, Vice-Principal appreciated the efforts of the department for organising a mega-event. Dr.Suresh, Head, department of Tamil enlightened the importance of the event. Keynote address was delivered by Gowri, Faculty Coordinator, briefed the history of Alacrity and guidelines for each event of the day.
Various competitions like Plan-B, Big-B, Quiz Time, Emporia, Justaa Little, Razz Matazz were scheduled for the final-year UG students. The Overall Winner Trophy was bagged by the Department of B.Sc IT.In the valedictory address,
