The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in association with Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research (IIFSR), Modipuram conducted the XIII Annual Group Meeting on All India Network Programme on organic farming. The event saw scientists coming from different places together on one platform.
The welcome address was delivered by E.Somasundaram, Professor & Head, Dept. of SOA while the inaugural address was delivered by N.Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore. The highlights of the scheme and Annual Group meet was touched upon by M.P.Singh, Professor (TTR & HRD), IIFSR, Modipuram, Meerut. The special address was delivered by K.Ramaraju, Director of Research and C.Jayanthi, Director, Crop Management, TNAU. The Guest of Honor on the occasion was S.Bhaskar, ADG (Agron, AF&CC) ICAR, New Delhi.
The event also saw a book release by K.Alagusundaram, DDG (NRM), ICAR, New Delhi. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by N.Ravisankar, Principal Scientist & National PI AINPOF, IIFSR, Modhipuram.
