The 77th Independence Day was commemorated at C.B.M. College on August 15, 2023. Dr. K. Singaravelu, Principal, took the honour of hoisting the National Flag, igniting patriotic fervor among the attendees.
Distinguished guests included B. Ilango, Former Vice Chancellor of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore; Rtn. Nirmala Natarajan, Former Associate Professor of Zoology, Thanthai Periyar Government Arts College, Trichy; and Kezevino Aram, President of Shanti Ashram, Kovaipudur. Their enlightening keynote addresses added a profound dimension to the celebration.
The college’s Kalaivalar Mandram orchestrated a range of cultural competitions, enriching the students’ engagement. The winners were adorned with prizes and certificates, a testament to their remarkable talents. The event witnessed stunning cultural performances by the students, showcasing the diversity of India’s heritage.
The festivities were graced by the presence of Sasikala Ramraj, Managing Trustee of CBM Sakunthala Memorial Trust, along with dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members and enthusiastic students.
