COO of FAVS Academy Shares Insights on Gamified Learning at NGPiTECH

The Center for Faculty Development at Dr. N.G.P Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, organized a one-day Faculty Development Program on “Understanding Neurons for Effective Teaching – Z Generation Students.” The program aimed to equip faculty members with the latest teaching methods for Gen Z students and to improve the academic and intellectual environment. The gathering was welcomed by Franklin John, Professor and Head of the Department of Management Studies, and presided over by S.U. Prabha, Principal of Dr. NGP iTech. Muthuswamy, Director – Academics, felicitated the gathering.

The Resource Persons, Alex Rajesh, COO FAVS Academy, Sheeja from the Department of Commerce and Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham, and Vimala, SVIITM, addressed the audience on the effective use of gamified learning to enhance the learning experience and improve educational outcomes for Gen Z students. Gamified learning involves integrating game elements and mechanics into the learning process to make it more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. They emphasized that incorporating gamified learning into teaching can create a dynamic and student-centered learning environment that inspires curiosity, enhances retention, and fosters a love for learning.
