German Consul General Michaela Küchler visits EKKI Pump’s R&D Facility

EKKI, a leading pump manufacturer in the industry, recently welcomed the German Consul General, Michaela Küchler, and senior German diplomats to its state-of-the-art R&D Centre in Coimbatore. The visit showcased the successful collaboration between EKKI and Germany, highlighting the significant advancements and technological innovations achieved through their partnership.

Consul General Küchler was warmly received by Arumugam, CEO, and Kanishka Arumugam, Co-CEO of EKKI, who provided an exclusive tour of the K2V Labs, the company’s cutting-edge R&D facility. The visit aimed to emphasize EKKI’s transformation into a globally competitive pump manufacturer, driven by collaborative efforts with Germany.

EKKI has established an international joint venture alliance with HOMA, a top wastewater pump company in Germany, which has played a crucial role in the company’s progress. Additionally, EKKI maintains close ties with several technology partners and institutes in Germany, further strengthening the collaboration between the two nations.

During the visit, Consul General Küchler gained valuable insights into the pivotal role of pumps and water technologies across various sectors, including agriculture, buildings, public utilities, and industries. She had the opportunity to engage with EKKI’s R&D executive team and employees involved in pump development, highlighting the company’s unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence.
