NGPiTECH Encourages Students to Become Energy Ambassadors

The National Level Technical Contest “Energy Ambassador Program” was jointly organized by the Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals, Coimbatore Chapter and Rotary Coimbatore Gaalaxy (R.I.3201) in collaboration with Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, PSBB Millennium School and Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai.

Er. Gunasekaran, Head-Production, Electra EV, Coimbatore graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he emphasized the significance of Energy Conservation and Energy Management.

Rtn. MPHF Muruganantham, President, Rotary Coimbatore Gaalaxy delivered the welcome address. Subsequently, Rtn. Balakrishnan, Managing Director, BK Power Coimbatore, Ashok Kumar, Chairman and Kamalakannan, Secretary of IAEMP Coimbatore Chapter highlighted the importance of “Energy Conservation.”

U. Prabha, Principal of the NGPiTECH, encouraged the students to become Energy Ambassadors of the Nation and actively participate in conserving energy.

The event witnessed the participation of 600 students from 52 Engineering Colleges in and around Coimbatore, along with approximately 175 students from 42 Schools. Various prizes were distributed to the mentors, teachers and students. Jagannathan, HoD/EEE and Senthilnathan coordinated event.
