SRIPMS Celebrates International Yoga Day

The College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRIPMS), celebrated International Yoga Day recently. The event, organized by the NSS-Unit, took place at Velumaniammal Hall, SRH campus, Coimbatore.

Ravi, the Principal of the College of Pharmacy, SRIPMS, delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of yoga in promoting overall well-being and introduced the chief guest for the occasion.

Thiruvengadam, Chairman of the Tamilnadu Yoga Teachers Association, graced the event as the chief guest. He enlightened the audience on the various ways to lead a healthy life through yoga practice. He demonstrated and explained the importance and benefits of Pranayama and Asanas.

The programme saw the presence of approximately 15 staff members and 80 NSS student volunteers. Merlin, Assistant Professor, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, and Beena, Assistant Professor, concluded the event by delivering a vote of thanks.

Rajalingam, the NSS Officer of the College of Pharmacy, efficiently coordinated the programme.
