Sunaina’s “Regina” is a female lead thriller film. The Teaser was released on 30th May 2023 by Actor Arya through social media and also an event was organised in Coimbatore by ardent_events_smithanair at Prozone Mall. Prominent people from Coimbatore made their presence for the event.
The event was presided by Balakrishnan, Commissioner of Police – Coimbatore District along with the guest of honours, Krishnan, Charman of Sri Krishna Sweets, Balasubramanian, MD of Sri Baba Theatres Pvt Ltd, Jaya Mahesh, Fashion Icon & Fitness guru.
Regina is a multilingual film shot in Tamil and dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu. The film is directed by Domin DSilva, REGINA is his debut as a director in Tamil industry. He has to his credit two Malayalam movies “Paipin Chuvattile Pranayam” and “Star”. Elaborating on the film, DSilva says that the movie will be an intense female-lead thriller. “ It is about an ordinary homemaker achieving extraordinary things. Regina will be an engaging “musical thriller, “he said.
The movie is bankrolled by debutant producer Sathish Nair of “Yellow Bear Production LLP” from Coimbatore. He is also debuting as Music Director composing all the songs and background score for the film. “Sooravali Pola“ the main lead song in the movie has been released as a Lyrical Video. The lyrics of the song are written by Yugabarthi and the song is sung by Sid Sriram (Male Version) and Vandana Srinivasan (Female Version). The Music Rights of the films have been bagged by Junglee Music – A Times Group Company.
Pavan K Pavan is the DOP, Kamarudin is the art director, Toby John is the Editor and the costumes were done by Aegan.
The Audio launch & Trailer release of “REGINA” is scheduled on the 5th of June 2023 in Chennai. The film will be released in theatres this JUNE 2023.
