When asked whether women are concerned about going for master health check-ups, Dr.Adityan said that among women, office-goers develop the will to go for annual health check-ups better than home-makers. The latter rely on their husbands to take them to the centers. He said this trend needs to change as soon as possible, as women’s health needs to be given priority.

Talking about kids, he said Type-1 diabetes among children is rising. Hence when kids display abnormal tiredness, go urine frequently at night, show increased appetite/consume food abnormally,  and also develop sudden skin changes, then the parents must take them for a health check-up because these are early signs of type-1 diabetes in children.
