CII organized HR NXT2023 Conclave

CII Coimbatore and Indian Women Network (IWN) jointly organized a conclave titled HR NXT 2023, at The Residency Towers, Coimbatore on Thursday. This conference focused on the key aspects towards ‘Reinventing the Future of HR’.

The welcome address was given by Senthil Ganesh, Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Managing Trustee, RVS Group of Institutions. The Theme address was given by Sri Ram, Event Chairman & Vice President- Strategic Projects, HR Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd. Hema Mani, Chairwoman, CII-IWN Tamil Nadu & Regional Director- Human Resources Lenox India Technology Centre & LASEC delivered the Special Address. The Keynote address was given by Samuel Jacob, Global HR Suite- Program Management Stellantis. The Inaugural address was given by Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Rajalakshmi Subramanian, CO- Chairman, CII-IWN Tamil Nadu & Director, Career Tree HR Solutions Pvt Ltd., delivered the Concluding Remarks. Meanwhile, the Guests gave some remarks about Chat GPT.

Then, the panel discussion was held with various HR executives. The key focus area of Coimbatore NXT, CII’s vision is to transform Coimbatore into one of the most vibrant economic destinations in India focusing on all sectors.

“With every set of inventions there will be more new Jobs and the value of Human Intelligence will increase. It is our responsibility to reinvent ourselves” said Senthil Ganesh.

Sri Ram briefed about the topics of the panel discussion such as the Role of HR in Diversity & Inclusion, Technology Trend that changes HR landscape 7 our preparedness, Employee Engagement and Wellbeing, Impart of Labour Code and Governance and Compliance: Challenges & Opportunities.

“IWN is an arm of CII, we have chapters across India and 8000 members which includes both individual members and corporate members,” said Hema Mani. She also briefed about the programmes that IWN has, especially ‘Campus to Career Transition’, ‘Inventory Programme’ and ‘Women Leadership Development Programme’.

Samuel Jacob expressed his thoughts on ‘Employability and Economic Growth’.

Krishnaraj Vanavarayar stated Mahatma Gandhi was the Best HR and also he said “Get rid of all the bondages, feel light, live in the present then you’ll be a great HR. You care for the Domestic Servant; you can give the keys to him and walk away”. He also stated that ‘Changes are bound to happen, you’ve to change with the times. But Change for the sake of Change can be Dangerous’.
