A burns victim most often requires multiple surgeries, reconstruction and rehabilitation to get back to productive living.
Skin from the Ganga Skin bank has been used in 120 major burns and trauma patients of Ganga Hospital. Processed skin can be transported and Ganga Skin Bank has been sent to hospitals in Manipal, New Delhi, Jamshedpur and Bangalore.
