Dr.NGP Institute of Technology was bestowed with the Best Spoke Institution Award for the Promotional Activities from Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute-Tamil Nadu (EDII-TN), recently.
Entrepreneurship Development And Innovation Institute is an apex organization in the field of entrepreneurship education and self-employment promotion in the state of Tamil Nadu under the Department of MSME, TN Govt.
To create awareness about Entrepreneurship among college students, EDII Tamil Nadu has launched several initiatives under the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Program (IEDP) in a hub and spoke model.
As a part of this ED Cell of Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore received proposals from 127 Institutions in the Coimbatore Region and out of that Ten Spoke Institutions have been shortlisted to receive funds for promoting Entrepreneurship at their Institutional level.
At the event for the disbursal of funds for the Spoke Institution, Dr.NGP IT’s Principal Prabha, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology and P.Sivaprakash, Chief coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology received the above-mentioned award from the Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Prof.Velraj.
