The Department of Biotechnology of Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC), Coimbatore and ELIES Biotech Private Limited, Erode signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday.
The aim of the MoU is to jointly conduct activities related to Manpower Development (Training), Industry Engagement, Government Engagement, Grants, International Engagement and Research & Development in mutually identified areas including Plant tissue culture, Natural Farming, Integrated Farming, Mushroom Cultivation and value addition, Soil and Water testing, etc.
The MoU was signed by C.A.Vasuki, Secretary and Director, KASC and Aravindh Selvaraj, Executive Director & CSO of ELIES Biotech Pvt Ltd in the presence of M.Lekeshmanaswamy , Principal, S.R.Madhan Shankar , Dean Academics, KASC and R.Sathish kumar, Head of the Department (UG) , Department of Biotechnology, KASC.
The coordinator of the activities under this MoU is S.Bhargavi, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, KASC.
