Young Indians (Yi), the main organizers of the Coimbatore Vizha announced on Tuesday about the 3rd edition of The Pitch – a program that provides mentoring support aspiring startup companies and access to funding.
Pitch is held in association with PSG Step, TiE, NAN, Forge Accelerator and every stakeholder in the startup ecosystem of Coimbatore.
“The main objective of the Pitch event is to strengthen the startup ecosystem and bring together innovative ideas from our region to the startup world,” a press release said.
Pitch has been a platform for many startups in the last editions to receive funding. Some select startups have received the opportunity to be incubated at PSG-Step and mentored by industry veterans.
This year, the doors of opportunity have been widened, and college students with startup ideas that can be scaled as business can also participate. “They will be mentored by experts and will be nurtured to take their business idea to the next level,” the press release added.
