Raja M Shanmugham, TEA President has recently met Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Rita A Teaotia IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog in New Delhi requesting to address the ongoing issues, especially on refund of ROSL, GST paid, ATUFS capital subsidy impacting the exports growth.
According to a release, TEA President has stressed to commerce minister to take up the issue with Finance Ministry not to insist the exporting units to pay advance tax at a time when the industry is undergoing an unprecedented crisis after implementation of GST and also drop the recent action like attaching the bank account of the units.
‘The Hon’ble Minister has assured to help the industry and we hope the positive results in the coming days,’ said Raja M Shanmugham, TEA President.
