The first year students of the four houses of Dr.N.G.P Institute of Technology White, Grey, Blue and Yellow displayed their solidarity with a March Past and Oath taking on the 11th Sports Day inaugurated by its Chairman Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami and Secretary Dr. Thavamani D Palaniswami at the college.
Followed by the hoisting of The National Flag by the Chairman, the Olympic Flag was hoisted by the Secretary and the College Flag was hoisted by the Principal Dr. K. Porkumaran, a release says.
Withal, track events and the field events for students and faculty members were conducted and more than 500 hundred prizes and medals were given to the participants.
