National Ranking of Agribusiness Management Schools carried out by the Concept Agrotech Consultants Limited, a Consultancy Company catering exclusively to the agribusiness and rural sector, declared TNAU’s Agri Business Management as one of the top 15 Agribusiness Management schools which includes IIMs.
After evaluating the TNAU’s Agri Business Management’s industry orientation of the curriculum, innovation in pedagogy, fee structure, admission selection process and sports and fitness amenities, global exposure events, students exchange program, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, industry interaction and webinars, relevant placement tie-ups and scholarship facilities etc., the honor was bestowed.
The Department of Agricultural and Rural Management (ARM) offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programmes in Agribusiness Management. The MBA (Agribusiness) programme offered by this Department is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The graduates from this Department are well placed in various agri-business sectors including input sector, production, processing, transportation, packaging, logistics, supply chain, organized retail, banking, insurance, agri-clinics and consultancy services.
