PSG iTech’s ECE Department organized an AICTE-ISTE sponsored One week Online Refresher / Induction Program (Phase III) on ‘Integration of Pedagogical Strategies with ICT for Transformation of Engineering Education’ between Apr.22 and Apr.28.
Around nineteen resource persons from top-notch institutions like IIT-M, NIT Trichy, NITTTR, and ISTE spearheaded eighteen session during the whole week on various topics like ICT tools, digital learning, pedagogical strategies, and mental wellbeing etc. Participants found the sessions interesting and informative.
The valediction of this event took place recently. N Tamarai Selvan, Associate Professor, Dept. of Management Studies, NIT-Trichy was the Chief Guest of this event. G.Chandramohan, Principal, PSG iTech, presided over the valedictory function and spoke about the importance of creativity in teaching. Further, he elaborated on different thinking skills like convergent and divergent thinking in enhancing teaching skills. Also, all the participants were appreciated for their active participation in all the sessions.
P.V.Mohanram, Secretary of the college recalled the significant points shared during the sessions, which were facilitated by the internal faculty members, and encouraged all the other faculty members to organize sessions on various other useful topics. P Vetrivelan, Associate Professor and Head (in-charge), Dept. of ECE was the Coordinator of the Program, and guided the department faculty to organize this program successfully.
