Kamal Haasan pledges 25 plans for Coimbatore South Constituency

Makkal Needhi Maiam’s President and the party’s Coimbatore-South constituency candidate for 2021 TN Assembly Election, Kamal Haasan announced his plans for the constituency on Wednesday Afternoon.

He said:

All wards in the constituency will have an MLA’s office and these will function as a 24 hour public grievance redressal centre.

Those living in land without a Land-Deed for long will be given one.

Central Jail will be shifted outside the city. In its place an integrated market plaza will be brought for public’s benefit.

Subways will be built in Gandhipuram, Cross cut road, 100 feet road, Town Hall, Oppanakara Street.

A welfare Board will be established for Gold Jewels Manufacturers.

The entire constituency will get 6 feet deep underground drainage facility.

Government Blood Bank will be established throughout the constituency.

Helpless elderly citizens will be provided a home where food and shelter will be provided. They will also get Health Insurance.

All wards will have a library and gym.

Exorbitant Interest practices will be abolished entirely. Steps will be taken to provide loans to MSME Entrepreneurs with fair rate of interest.

All wards will have free law consultancy centers.

Plastic usage will be stopped. Recycle plants for Water waste, Plastic waste and E-waste will be encouraged.

All wards will get a Skill Development Centre.

Pure water with proper distribution channels will be provided to the whole constituency.

All streets will have better street-lights. Its proper functioning will be ensured.

Cleanliness of Coimbatore and its Sanitation will be given better priority.

Government’s Services will come directly to houses.

Better steps will be taken towards Solid Waste Management.

Govt. Schools and Ambedkar Hostel will get proper, clean drinking water and drainage facilities.

Students studying from Orphanage Homes will be given priority in Employment.

Free Coaching Centers for Competitive Exams will be provided.

Traffic management measures will be taken to reduce traffic.

Steps towards fast completion of Flyovers will be taken.

Unorganized Labour sector will be provided assistance.

With the help of NGO, Govt will provide better infrastructure needed for women in public places.

With the participation of public, water bodies will be preserved and maintained.

An Association will be formed consisting of high school graduates in every Govt School to guide the latter.
