CODISSIA-IAF announce collaboration

CODISSIA Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre (CDIIC) signed a MoU with the Indian Air Force during the Aero India 2021 Exhibition held at Bengaluru on February 5, 2021.

A press release from CODISSIA mentioned that the objective of this MoU is to find solutions for repair & overhaul/indigenization of parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, aggregates, LRUs, etc. for aircraft of the IAF and to provide mentoring to the startup companies incubated at CDIIC.

The IAF was represented by Air Vice Marshal Ramakrishnan, AVSM, VSM, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Maintenance Plans) while CDIIC was represented by M.V.Ramesh Babu, President, CODISSIA & Sundaram, Director of CDIIC.

Apart from this MoU, CDIIC had fruitful interaction with B.Elangovan, Senior GM, Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (TIDCO) besides interacting with representatives of IAF, Ministry of Defence and other foreign companies and Original Equipment Makers.

The interaction with TIDCO has turned to be very much positive. CODISSIA conveyed that TIDCO is very much interested to join hands with CODISSIA for Defence Manufacturing related projects and is ready to invest about Rs. 250 crore.
