Coimbatore’s first Atal Incubation Centre- AIC RAISE established under the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog located in Rathinam Techzone Campus, Coimbatore has organized the first LinkedIn Local Kovai Meet & Investors meetup event in association with LinkedIn Local Kovai recently.
The main objective of the event is to facilitate networking and collaboration opportunities for startups, aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals taking the LinkedIn online networking to offline mode for enhanced connectivity and business partnerships.
Speakers, Akash Mahagaonkar, Director at Relativity Management Solutions, Mr.Shanjay, Founder ‘At 641’ and Mr.Anish K Raju, LinkedIn Local Kochin shared their experiences, importance of networking and community engagement with the participants.
Preeti Chaudhary, Founder of LinkedIn Local India, Angel Investor and partner at ‘ah! Ventures’ participated as the Chief Guest of the event and shared about her experience in creating LinkedIn Local Community in India. She is helping to nurture and grow the nascent startup ecosystem, especially women entrepreneurs and students. She also shared about the investment opportunities available for startups and entrepreneurs in International startup ecosystem for scaling and growing into global ventures.
Dr.Madan A. Sendhil, Chairman of Rathinam Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Preeti Chaudhary for mentoring and bringing in investment supports for the startups incubated and supported under AIC RAISE startup incubation program. This partnership would open gateways for international investments into the Coimbatore startup ecosystem.
Startups, entrepreneurs and working professionals from 5 different countries have participated in this networking and investors meet. AIC RAISE is working to promote startups from the region through an incubation process which include technical support, supervision, management and strategic planning support, back office and capital support.
