The KMCH College of Nursing, Child Health Nursing Department observed World Hemophilia Day on Wednesday.
There were approximately 140 students and faculty members. Dr. Rajasekar .T, MD DM, (Hematology), Consultant Hematologist, Hemato-oncologist, and Bone Marrow Transplant Physician at KMCH, Coimbatore, was the guest speaker.
He addressed on the theme “EQUITABLE ACCESS FOR ALL: RECOGNIZING ALL BLEEDING DISORDERS” and provided insights into the latest diagnostic measures and treatment modalities for Hemophilia.
The program concluded with an interactive question-answer session. Moreover, third-year BSc Nursing students actively participated in a poster competition, from which the top three posters were selected.
