Rathinam College promotes responsible voting

Rathinam College of liberal arts and Science in a joint effort to promote responsible voting, the Rathinam College Riders Club, Coimbatore Bicycle Riders Club, Decathlon, Rathinavani Community Radio, and Cookoo Cycling Club came together recently for a 25 km bicycle awareness ride.

The walkathon is Themed “100% Vote” and “My Vote Not for Sale,” the ride aims to encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. Starting at Decathlon Nilambur, the ride culminated at Rathinam College of Arts and Science in Eachanari through Town Hall with around 50 cyclists spreading the message of responsible voting throughout the city.

Dr. Manickam, CEO of Rathinam College, Sub Inspector Nalathambi Podanur Police Station, Dr. Balasubramanian, Principal, Dr. Sabareesh, Dean of Research & Development of Rathinam College, Mahendran, Station  Manager, Rathinavani Community Radio, and God Win, organizer of the Bicycle Riders Club, honoured the participants in the concluding ceremony.

This collaborative effort by Coimbatore’s cycling community highlights the importance of civic engagement and responsible voting in a fun and healthy way.
