KMCH College of Pharmacy has conferred with Dr. P. D. Patil National Award 2023 for Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences on Monday at Pune.
Pune University announced the second edition of the Dr. P. D. Patil National Award 2023 for Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Pune University, stands tall as a symbol of excellence, boasting a rich legacy of 71 years of transformative education under the visionary leadership of Dr. P.D. Patil.
The major objective of instituting this award is to facilitate, acknowledge, and motivate PG/Pharm. D/PhD Scholars who are undertaking innovative research projects in pharmaceutical sciences from various institutes across the country.
Dr. Shalini Sivadasan, Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice, KMCH College of Pharmacy, received a National Award for the best mentorship in the best thesis award category. Kevin John, a Pharm.D. Student secured the first position in the subject category of Pharm.D. for the best thesis in pharmaceutical sciences in 2023. They were awarded a certificate and a cash prize during the ceremony.
More than 50 pharmacy colleges throughout the nation participated and competed for the Dr. P. D. Patil National Award 2023 under the category of Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. A. Rajasekaran, Principal, KMCH College of Pharmacy, and other faculty members congratulated Dr. Shalini Sivadasan and Kevin John for their national-level achievements.
