PSG Polytechnic College organized polytech Day on Thursday at F Block Assembly Hall.
The program began with Tamil Thai Valthu. Ramesh Kalyan, Director, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Coimbatore, was the chief guest. Karthick, Secretary Students Union, welcomes the gathering. The Principal, PSG Polytechnic College, presented the Polytech Day Report 2024.
The chief guest congratulated the awardees, and he highlighted the scope of engineering for industry growth. He advised students to stay updated on the latest trends, like generative artificial intelligence. The expectations of the industry are also addressed in his speech. And, he asked the students to be committed to the work assigned to them.
Mohan Sivakumar, Chief Advisor-Students Union, announced student awards. Totaling 14 students, they received their BEST Outgoing certificates and medals from the various branches.
The chief guest gave awards to the Overall Best Outgoing Student Award of PSG Polytechnic College, the Best NCC Cadet Award, the Best NSS Volunteer Award, the Best Outgoing Sportsman and Woman Award, and six scholarship awards.
Bernice Renita, Secretary Students Union, gave a vote of thanks at the end of the program, which was followed by the national anthem.
