Cinépolis surprises underprivileged kids by screening 2.0 in Fun Cinemas

Cinépolis, India’s 1st International and the world’s 2nd largest movie theatre circuit organised a special movie screening of the movie 2.0 recently for the underprivileged kids. The event was held in association with Round Table India. This initiative is part of Cinépolis’ CSR campaign, ‘Let’s All Go To Cinépolis’. Cinépolis has screened the movie in 18 cities for approximately 4600+ underprivileged kids.

In Coimbatore, about 50 children from Vani Vidhyalaya run by the PKD Trust for Economically Backward Children at Coimbatore and about 66 children from TISSO – A Home that houses orphaned children at Tirupur were taken to the movie screening of 2.O at Fun cinemas, Coimbatore. The same was co-ordinated by Coimbatore United Round Table 186, Tirupur Round Table 116 and Ladies Circle 44.

It was truly a memorable experience for many of these children who have never visited a cinema hall in the past and were enthralled with this initiative undertaken by Cinépolis.  The screening was followed by a round of refreshments as well as an engaging discussion around the movie.
