Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology signed MoU with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited recently. The attendees of the ceremony included Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr. N.G.P. IT, K.Porkumaran, Principal, Dr.N.G.P.IT, V.Pattabiraman, Assistant General Manager, BSNL, D.Sharmila, Head,Department of Information Technology, Faculty Members of Dept. of Information Technology, Directors, Heads of various departments of Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
D.Sharmila, Head, Dept. of IT welcomed the gathering. Dr. Thavamani D Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr. N.G.P. IT inspired the gathering with her special address. She stated that sharing and gaining of knowledge through various programmes will help the students and faculty members to get exposure on different streams. “It’s indeed a wonderful day and I’m pleased to be a part of it. This signing of MoU will develop a strong bridge between students and Telecommunication industry through their guidelines.You must develop yourself in every aspect. The session was further enthused by K. Porkumaran, Principal, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology. He mentioned the importance of the MoU and the recent innovative developments in all streams of Engineering.
Chief Guest V.Pattabiraman, Assistant General Manager, BSNL, shared his experience in Telecommunication field and opportunities in internship. He highlighted the needs of industry knowledge, Real time working model and hands on training to students and faculty members.
