A 19 year old girl belonging to R.S.Puram, Coimbatore killed herself on Tuesday evening over fears about facing NEET 2020. The Supreme Court dismissed plea to postpone this year’s NEET and JEE on August 17, 2020. The apex court announced that the exams will go as per schedule.
The girl was preparing for NEET for around 2 years and got coaching from a private coaching center. Sources say that when the announcement came that the NEET 2020 will not be cancelled this year, she was distressed emotionally. She hanged herself at her house. Her mother informed the police and a case has been filed and investigation is going on, reported media.
