In a sudden twist, Pranab Mukherjee’s health condition is now declining due to worsening of his lung infection. The health bulletin from Army Research and Referral Hospital, Delhi, where he is admitted since August 10, said “there has been a decline in the medical condition of Pranab Mukherjee as he has developed features of lung infection. He continues to be on ventilatory support and is currently being managed by a team of specialists.”
Abhijit Mukherjee, son of veteran Congress leader and former President of India Pranab Mukherjee said early on Wednesday that there is an improvement in the health condition of his father. Abhijit also said that his father’s organs are functioning well.
No one expected that in the very same day that Pranab’s condition would turn bad.
