Sri Ramakrishna Polytechnic College (SRPTC), Coimbatore and Jaikrishnaa Auto Sales (P) Ltd, Coimbatore signed a MoU for enhancement of skills in the automotive sector for a period of three years (March 2020 to March 2023). D.Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee of the College and Praveen D Kumar,Joint Managing Director, Jaikrishnaa Auto Sales, Coimbatore signed the MoU.
An Automobile service bay with equipment that cost Rs.8 lakhs approximately will be setup in the automobile laboratory of the college by Jaikrishnaa Auto Sales. The latter will also provide a car for the students to undergo hands on training.
It was also conveyed that Jaikrishnaa Auto Sales will impart automotive training to the students of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering students of SRPTC at free of Cost, will setup Maruti Suzuki Driving School in the campus of SRPTC and will impart driving training to the students of the institution run by SNR Sons Charitable Trust at Concession rate.
Dr.B.L.Shivakumar, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Polytechnic College, Dr. N.R.Alamelu, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College and A.Arvind, General Manager, Jaikrishnaa Auto Sales (P) Ltd, Coimabtore were present during the signing of MoU.
