Rotary Texcity will make Coimbatore witness an event of epic proportions that is aptly titled Jam Bo Ree 2018. It will be held in Hindusthan College, Nava India between 11.00 a.m. and 09.00 p.m. on December 01 & 02. The program is designed to make everyone engage and enjoy. With over 120 stalls, 20 food joints, live rock band competition and many more, Jam Bo Ree 2018 will certainly be a big shopping experience with loads of entertainment events.
For kids from age 3 to 7, on Dec.1, there is an event ‘Jamboree Kids Workshop’ which will include Story Telling and Craft Work between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. A creative session by Mrs. Muthu Annamalai, Therapeutic storyteller, trained in Kathalaya Banglore & World Story Telling Institute, will take place which will be productive for creative kids.
At the same time, for home makers, another event titled ‘Jamboree D.I.Y’ will take place. It will be helmed by Mrs. Chitra Ravindran. She will expound on “How to prepare Chemical Free Home Cleaners”
The event includes Rock Jam – competition for budding rockstars. The Best Bands will win Rs.25,000/-, Rs.15,000/- & Rs. 10,000/- and individual prize of Rs.3,000 will be given for the three best performing artist. Registration fee is Rs.1000/- per group.
On Dec.2, ‘Jamboree Adapt Tune’ – an on the spot dance competition on Western/Folk genre will take place. It is free of cost but pre-registration is compulsory to participate. Another event on the day called ‘Jamboree Clay Craft’ will take place between 12.30 p.m. and 01.30p.m.
