Rathinam College Teams Up with Y20 for G20 Y20 Talk

Rathinam College of Arts and Science joins hands with Y20, the distinguished youth wing of G20 India, to present the G20 Y20 Talk: “Future of Work, Innovation, and 21st Century Skills.” This conference is scheduled to take place on August 10, 2023, within the esteemed premises of Rathinam College.

As an official Engagement Group of the G20, Youth20 (Y20) aims to engage youth nationwide in discussions that steer the course towards a better tomorrow. The conference seeks to foster dialogue and thought leadership around the critical themes of the future of work, innovation, and essential 21st-century skills.

With the goal of influencing career decisions and enriching the lives of both students and the wider academic community, this Y20 event is dedicated to empowering higher education for the evolving world of work.

The event proudly features a lineup of distinguished keynote speakers who will share their insights and expertise. Attendees can look forward to captivating keynote speeches and thought-provoking panel discussions that offer valuable insights, exchange of ideas, and inspiration for achieving career excellence.

The event will commence with a welcome address by Madhan A Sendhil, Chairman of Rathinam Group of Institutions. Keynote addresses will follow, presented by notable figures such as Balakrishnan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore city, Shankar S Mantha, Former Chairman AICTE, Lakshit Mittal Track chair Y20, Sendhil Ganesh, Managing Trustee, RVS Group of Educational institutions, and Chairman CII.

Two insightful panel discussions are on the agenda. The first session, titled “Beyond Textbooks 21st Century Skills,” will feature esteemed academicians such as Elan Ganesan, Senior General Manager – Manipal Global Education Services, Saravanakumar Dean, Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore, Venkatesan Principal, KSR Institute for Engineering and Technology, Ramasamy Principal, KPR Group of Institutions, and Sumithra Principal, Sri Krishna College of Technology.

The second-panel discussion, “Student Launchpad,” will engage Prof. Joshua Dairymple, Professor of Law, Woxen University, Udaya Sankar, Deputy Director, Government Relations at NASSCOM, Sameer Karulkar, Founder, Coverpage Ventures, Former Sr. Vice President, Times Group, Nagaraj Balakrishnan Vice President, Atal Incubator – AIC RAISE, Mr. Bijoy Sivan, Managing Director, Rently Software Development Pvt. Ltd, and Santhosh Mani, Director, Human Resources, Avantar Lab Products. This initiative is geared towards the empowerment of the educational community.
