The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken a significant step in its ongoing investigation into the Odisha triple train tragedy, which claimed the lives of 289 individuals. On Monday, the CBI sealed the rented house of a junior engineer named Amir Khan from Soro Section signal, as part of its probe into the incident.
According to a report by Indo-Asian News Service, Amir Khan was initially interrogated by the CBI at an undisclosed location. However, when the agency officials arrived at Khan’s rented house in Soro on Monday, they discovered it to be locked and the entire family was missing. In response, the CBI decided to seal the premises.
The rented house has now become a focal point of the investigation, with two CBI officials being assigned to keep a close watch on the property. This action underscores the seriousness with which the investigative agency is approaching the case and its determination to uncover any relevant information that may shed light on the tragic train accident.
