HiCAS organized HR-CONCLAVE 2023

HR – conclave 2023 focusing on navigating the “New world of work” organized on Friday by Department of Business Administration from Hindusthan College of arts and science. It was organized with the prime motive of deriving the key insights of the current corporate and employment management. The event was graced by various resource persons from different backgrounds.

The inaugural of the event was done by Maheshkumar, Founder, chief advocate/ proprietor, Wall cliffs Law Firm has given wonderful insights on Law system in HR procedures, Importantance of law in HR Management. Dhilipkumar, HR Talent partner spoke about ethics and complaints incorporates, harassment, most difficult 5 minutes of life, knowledge is strength. Sumesh Pillai, Head Talent acquisition & Recruitment, spoke about managing and retaining critical employees in the organization.

Janapriya HR Recruiter spoke on the key points about Employee retention, reasons for attrition, positive exit, negative exit, effects of attrition on the organisation. Naveen Ravindrakumar, Talent acquisition executive, spoke about the growth of remote and hybrid work module in the current trend.

Shrine Janet, HR executive, CIEL, spoke on the topic ‘Role of women in top management‘. Padmavathi, HR Manager, Ganga, spoke on Workplace diversity and inclusion, HR Management in Healthcare, Diversity in patient handling, and Safety in workplace.

Kirthika, HR Manager RPM Performance coating, spoke about the importance of unskilling and reskilling, Positive and Negative effects of moonlighting, Companies are starting to accept Gig workers, Psychometrics assessments and Metaverse HR.

The program was followed by panel discussion including all the resource people, Sudhakar – director of department of MBA, Anusha prabha – asst. professor and the student president, Pon anadurai, Head corporate HR, The Director, Sandhiya from Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science and Nusrath Arifa, MBA HR, Hindusthan College of arts and science. The panel touched various aspects on ‘Navigating a new world of work’.
