American Professors visit Sri Krishna campus

Having already signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Valparaiso University, USA and in continuation of this MoU, Prof. Jaishankar Raman, Assistant Provost, Dr. Jim Brodzinski, Dean, College of Business and Dr. Eric Johnson, Dean, College of Engineering from Valparaiso University, USA visited Sri Krishna Institutions, Coimbatore.

Dr. Jaishankar Raman, Assistant Provost said that development in education is needed to remove the primitive thoughts and approaches. New approach in the education pedagogy is the paramount to meet the future needs. For this, research is going to play an important position in the education. Industrial needs should be included in the curriculum and syllabus. Equally we have to train the students on all components and they should be exposed on developing multi skills. They expert team interacted with the heads of institutions.

The process of 2 plus 2 programme was discussed that is, students admitted will pursue 2 years of Engineering programme in Sri Krishna Institutions and 2 years in Valparaiso University. Students completing their BE/ B.Tech degree from Sri Krishna Institutions have an opportunity to pursue MBA/ME programme in Valparaiso University, USA. The MoU will be implemented from the academic year 2018-2019 onwards.
