KCT saw ISTEM -2018 being organized as part of an ongoing International Conference Series aimed at serving faculty, students, interdisciplinary researchers, engineering professionals, managers and others engaged in teaching, Research & Development or scholarly works in physical and biological sciences and Information Technology.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Prof. Dr. Kumaran Palanisamy, Managing Director of the Centers of Research and Development at the University Tenaga Nasional from Malaysia. Prof. Seshadri Ramkumar of Texas Tech University in USA and Prof. Mukesh Doble of IIT-Madras were guests of honor of the conference. The conference was chaired by M. Balasubramaniam, Correspondent, KCT while the welcome address was delivered by Principal of KCT Prof. J. Senthil.
Address of the conference, Prof. Kumaran Palanisamy outlined the progress in higher education in Malaysia in the last two decades and pointed out towards importance that Malaysian Universities and industries there place on translating academic research output into commercial products that would benefit the public.
