PSG iTech, a premier Engineering Institution in Coimbatore hosted an online induction/refresher program on Industry 4.0 and Electric Vehicles.
It was arranged by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with the support of AICTE – ISTE. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Vijay D Vaidya, Executive Secretary, ISTE. He stressed the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills in emerging areas such as Industry 4.0 and Electric Vehicles, and the need for faculty members to pursue research to enhance innovation in our country.
The participants for the program were from both engineering and polytechnic colleges in India. There were 285 registrations for the program from which 100 participants were shortlisted for the program, seventeen expert speakers from both industry and academia shared their knowledge with the participants.
