Minster Senthil Balaji, who has been made the Minister-in-charge for Coimbatore by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK. Stalin expressed his grief over the demise of C.R.Swaminathan, who was considered one of Coimbatore’s distinguished personalities and eminent academic administrators.
The Minister wrote that CR Swaminathan has made immense contributions in the fields of industry, education, infrastructure and nature conservation in the Coimbatore district and has been a mentor to many. He also wrote that he was shocked and saddened to hear the news of his sudden death. He expressed his condolence to his surviving family members.
